Double Major

1. The double major program of the Department of Business Administration can be conducted with the Departments of Economics, Political Science and International Relations, Western Languages and Literatures, and Psychology. The admission CGPA is 3.25. Students are admitted to the Department of Business Administration based on their CGPA in the Fall semester and, when deemed necessary, in the Spring semester. The CGPA of students in the double major program cannot drop below 3.00 in any semester.

2. Students wishing to participate in the double major program apply to both departments with a petition and a complete "transcript" showing their latest grades. Applications can be made in the third or fourth semesters. Applications are finalized upon the recommendations of the Departmental Boards and the decision of the relevant Faculty Executive Boards.

3. The total study period for students admitted to the double major program (excluding the English Preparatory period) cannot exceed 10 semesters starting from their date of admission to the University.

4. The double major program is administered by the Double Major (DMP) advisors of the departments.

5. In addition to the courses of their primary registered department, students in the program can take a maximum of 4 courses of 3 credits each per semester. In the double major application to be carried out with the Department of Business Administration, this load is limited to a maximum of 3 courses of 3 credits each.

6. Students wishing to leave the double major program inform their departments via a petition. These students, as well as those dismissed from the program due to duration and grade point average, continue in the program of their primary registered department and can only be entitled to receive the undergraduate diploma of that department. Excess non-departmental courses of students who leave the double major program are converted to non-credit (NC).

7. Undergraduate diplomas of both departments are awarded to students who successfully complete the double major program.

8. To learn the application dates, you can check the academic calendar.
